How It Started

Ps Jamie and Ludmila found themselves praying asking God for a next step in their lives. They wanted to make a difference and to be part of God’s great rescue plan for Ireland, to serve the people of Ireland by inspiring them to pursue an authentic relationship with Jesus, to experience the God that many of us spent our whole lives growing up hearing about but never actually knowing. Bottom line - they wanted to give their lives to help people discover and live out their Extraordinary Purpose in Christ.

Expanding the vision

That was 2008 and they did not expect God to respond to that prayer in the form of leading them to pioneer Lighthouse Church. But since then to now - our desire, our prayer and our mission is still the same. We believe that God loves Ireland, and that he loves you. We believe that God has a plan and a purpose for everyone of us; that we have been Made for More. We believe that the church is the family of God, somewhere where we can all belong. We believe that Jesus came into our world to make us fully alive; and that full life, a fulfilled life is only possible through him

Today Lighthouse is making a difference in hundreds of lives and many communities, online and on the ground. 2008
Navan

Lighthouse Church was birthed in Navan in 2008.


2017
Dublin

We planted in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 in 2017. We planted on Sunday 1st October in the Odeon Cinema, Blanchardstown Centre. We were the first ARC church plant in Europe.

2023
Dundalk

We planted in Dundalk on Sunday 2nd April 2023 in the Venue, Imperial Hotel, Dundalk.

2026
Swords

We planted Swords on 8th March 2026 in the IMC Cinema, Santry.

Our Beliefs

  • The Bible

    We believe that the Bible, the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God and is the infallible all sufficient rule for faith and practice

  • The Trinity

    We believe in the unity of the One True living and loving God Who is the Eternal, Self-Existent I AM and Who has also revealed Himself as One being in three Persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit

  • Jesus

    We believe in the Virgin Birth, sinless life, miraculous ministry, substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, triumphant ascension and abiding intercession of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in His Second coming as the blessed hope set before all believers, to reign as King in glory

    We believe in the fall of man, who was created pure and upright, but fell by voluntary transgression

  • Salvation

    We believe Salvation through Faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins according to the Scriptures, was buried and was raised from among the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that through His Blood we have redemption. This experience is also known as the New Birth, and is an instantaneous and complete operation of the Holy Spirit upon repentance and initial faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

    We believe in water baptism by immersion for all Believers , in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

    We believe in the Breaking of Bread in remembrance of Jesus until the Lord comes again

  • Holy Spirit

    We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues.


    We believe in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Offices that have been set by God in the church, as recorded in the New Testament.


  • Holiness of life

    We believe in the Holiness of life and conduct in obedience to the command of God – “Be ye holy for I am holy”.
